Originally I came up with the name Fediverse Explorations back in May to help me organize the more data-oriented articles I’ve written on the topic of fediverse.

Anyone else doing similar work? This could even be a blog, perhaps.
And when I published the results of my investigation into the delays between when I post something and it reaching all the different servers my followers are on, something really cool happened.
Stefan Hayden, a long time social media “mutual”, responded with his own, and frankly much better study into this. The article motivated me to commit to the idea of a more general website where you can browse similar studies and blog posts.

How long does a post take to federate to other servers?
TLDR: 8.6 seconds on average
At least as of about 7:30 EST today with a few servers under 1 and a few over 30 seconds.
